Access to Radiography

Access to Radiography is a program designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and qualifications required to progress to a degree in radiography or related fields. The program is specifically aimed at individuals who do not have the traditional qualifications required for university entry, such as A-levels or equivalent.

The Access to Radiography course covers a range of subjects, including anatomy and physiology, medical physics, radiation safety, imaging techniques, patient care, and communication skills. It also includes modules on ethical considerations in radiography and legal issues related to patient care.

Upon completion of the Access to Radiography program, students can apply for a degree in radiography or related fields at a university. Radiography is a healthcare profession that focuses on the use of medical imaging technologies, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI, to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries. Graduates of this degree program can go on to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices. They may also work in research, education, or policy-making related to radiography.
