The Access to Policing is a program designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and qualifications required to progress to a degree in policing or related fields. The program is specifically aimed at individuals who do not have the traditional qualifications required for university entry, such as A-levels or equivalent.

The Access to Policing covers a range of subjects, including criminal law, criminology, police procedure, forensic science, and investigative techniques. It also includes modules on research methods, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Upon completion of the Access to Policing, students can apply for a degree in policing or related fields at a university. Policing is a field that involves the prevention, detection, and investigation of crime, and the maintenance of public order. Graduates of this degree program can go on to work in a variety of settings, including police forces, law enforcement agencies, and government agencies. They may also work in related fields such as security, intelligence, or criminology.
