Access to Nursing
Access to Nursing is a program designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and qualifications required to progress to a degree in nursing. The program is specifically aimed at individuals who do not have the traditional qualifications required for university entry, such as A-levels or equivalent.
The Access to Nursing course covers a range of subjects, including nursing theory and practice, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and patient care. It also includes modules on communication skills, clinical skills, and ethical considerations in nursing practice.
Upon completion of the Access to Nursing program, students can apply for a degree in nursing at a university. Graduates of this degree program can go on to work in a variety of nursing specialties, including adult nursing, paediatric nursing, mental health nursing, and community nursing.
